By definition, Advocacy in all its forms seeks to ensure that people, particularly those who are most vulnerable in society, are able to: Have their voice heard on issues that are important to them. Defend and safeguard their rights. Have their views and wishes genuinely considered when decisions are being made about their lives.
Sea Save Foundation chooses ocean issues and builds advocacy campaigns that enable people to leverage the power of intelligent debate, carefully researched and articulated facts and to use the power of the Internet and social media to communicate these democratic tenets to regional, national and international governing bodies.
“We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in our hands to make a difference.”
-Nelson Mandela
