We are honored to announce that Sea Save Foundation is now the steward of the Global Shark Research File, a pioneering resource originally conceived by the remarkable marine conservationist, Marie Levine. For decades, Marie dedicated her life to studying and protecting sharks, understanding their vital role in our oceans’ health, and helping the public recognize their true nature beyond fear and myth. The Global Shark Research File, born from Marie’s dedication and insight, has become an invaluable resource for scientists, educators, policymakers, and enthusiasts around the world.
Marie Levine founded the Global Shark Research File in response to the growing need for comprehensive and accessible data on shark interactions.
